The FN 502 MRD is a semiautomatic .22 LR pistol designed for economical training and enjoyable range use. Based on the ergonomics of the FN 509, it features a target-grade fire control system, textured polymer grip frame, and ambidextrous controls for comfortable operation during extended shooting sessions. Its FN MRD optics mounting system allows a compatible red dot sight to be mounted directly to the slide, while the 4-inch barrel supports practical accuracy with a wide range of .22 LR ammunition.

This is my first...
This is my first shooting experience with a pistol chambered in .22 LR. The pistol is very soft shooting with absolutely no recoil. However, I found the feeding to be quite a bit sensitive, with many failures to feed issues. Also, I learned that I had to be extra gentle when inserting the magazine into the pistol because if not, the round would not seat properly and the gun would not fire. Even with all that, I did enjoy shooting it for target practice.
