The FN 509 Tactical is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for suppressed use and miniature red-dot optics. It features a 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel with a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and an integrated O-ring thread cap. The low-profile optics mounting system supports the included Vortex Viper Red Dot, while suppressor-height night sights provide a co-witnessing aiming reference. A polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps and a Picatinny accessory rail supports a secure, adaptable setup.

This FN 509 Tactical...
This FN 509 Tactical 9mm had everything I wanted in my next handgun. To start it had a Vortex Viper red dot with co-witnessed iron sights. It also had a threaded barrel, so my suppressor was ready to go. On the range it took three rounds to get the red dot locked into the bullseye. This is my first FN and I am very happy with it.
