The FN FNS-9 is a full-size 9mm striker-fired pistol designed for dependable operation and ambidextrous handling. Its double-action striker-fired system provides a consistent trigger pull, while the ambidextrous manual thumb safety adds an additional control option. The pistol features a checkered polymer frame with two interchangeable backstraps for a more comfortable fit, along with fully ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release controls. A MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail supports compatible lights and lasers, and the stainless steel slide and barrel provide durable service performance. Fixed 3-dot sights support straightforward target acquisition.

Great gun. I wanted a...
Great gun. I wanted a polymer 9mm striker fired gun, mostly for range use, and chose this one almost randomly. I wanted something other than glock but from a reputable company. No misfires, no malfunctions in almost 2500 rounds. Comes with 3 mags, changeable backstraps ,and a great case. Give the trigger time to break in. When I first brought it, before any oil, it measured a little over 8 lbs on my trigger gauge. After a few hundred dry fires and some lube it was down to 6 lbs. 6 months and a few thousand rounds, and 10 fold more triggers pulls in dry fire practice, it was under 5. Lbs by my gauge.
