The FN FNX-9 is a hammer-fired, double-action/single-action pistol designed for dependable personal defense, duty use, and range training. Its ergonomic polymer frame uses a low-bore axis to help reduce felt recoil, while interchangeable backstrap inserts allow the grip to be tailored to the shooter’s hand. The stainless steel slide features front and rear cocking serrations, and the 4-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel supports consistent accuracy. Ambidextrous controls and a manual safety provide flexible operation for right- and left-handed users.
