The Fusion Firearms XP COMP Custom Shop Thumbrest Edition is a wide-body 1911-based competition pistol built for controlled recoil and fast handling. Its 4.6-inch Clark/Para ramped bull barrel uses a precision-machined bar-stock construction and an integrated threadless pinned compensator, preserving the classic XP COMP slide profile without additional ports. Ambidextrous gas-pedal thumbrests provide a stable support-hand interface, while the Hard Chrome finish adds wear and corrosion resistance across the frame and slide. The optics-ready slide accepts the included RMR/SRO mounting plate and retains Novak-compatible combat sights for flexible aiming options. Additional features include a one-piece steel milled trigger, full-length guide rod, ambidextrous thumb safety, wide paddle slide stop, enhanced modular aluminum grip, removable magwell, and Picatinny accessory rail. The pistol accepts Glock 17 magazines and is produced as a limited Custom Shop configuration.
