Product Overview
The Fusion Firearms XP Pro is a double-stack 1911-based pistol chambered in 9mm and designed to use Glock 17 pattern magazines. Its steel frame and precision CNC-machined bar-stock construction provide a durable foundation, while the 4-inch Commander-length slide and Clark/Para ramped bull barrel offer a practical balance of handling and performance. The slide features tri-topped styling, front vent cuts, and forward and rear cocking serrations. Novak-compatible combat sights provide a familiar sight picture, and the removable rear sight plate with included RMR plate makes the pistol ready for compatible RMR or SRO red dot optics. An ambidextrous thumb safety, 1911-style grip safety, full-length guide rod, tactical accessory rail, and wide paddle slide stop support confident operation. The aluminum chainlink grip, checkered front strap, and removable magwell provide a secure, controllable hold and facilitate efficient reloads. The Blue/Black finish uses a Tennifer QPQ coating for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance.

I am thoroughly...
I am thoroughly impressed with this firearm. I have always been a 1911 enthusiast and the 2011 platform is a definite upgrade. I prefer a hammer fired over striker fired handguns. Specifically what I like about this firearm is the weight and balance. It is extremely accurate out of the box. What initially caught my attention about this firearm was that it uses Glock magazines. I wasn't even looking for a new handgun but stumbled across a tactical weapons video review featuring this weapon. Ordinarily I like to put hands on before purchasing but these handguns are new and I could not find one in stock.
