This firearm is NOT...
This firearm is NOT the CURRENT XP PRO! The one I'm getting is the version that has the problematic grip module that many users report being unmanageable if the shooter's hands get sweaty. Fusion has since created an enhance grip module. This is also the version with ejection port issues where many report brass kicking back into a red dot. Fusion has since created a fix for that on the NEW models. This model also had changes made to the slide serrations because many report they make it difficult to manipulate the slide. Fusion has since fixed this. I called Bud's "Customer Service" today to ensure I would be picking up the latest version of the FX Pro. The individual on the other end of the phone actually said, "whatever it says in the description is what we send out." "Whatever is in the picture is the gun we ship." I wanted assurances that this was the newest version, and then he told me to get the serial # and call FUSION to find out if it's the current model. Nice! I'm supposed to pick this up tomorrow from my FFL. For some reason, I thought Bud's had some kind of Customer Satisfaction Guarantee?? I guess not. I shouldn't have to call in every time I make a purchase to find out if it's the most current model. If I go to the FFL tomorrow and he tells me I can't exchange an $1100 pistol that isn't the newest, best version, of the pistol. I will shout this experience out FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS on every platform I can possibly imagine. The guy was of absolutely ZERO help and basically said it was my fault because I didn't do my due diligence and that any issues I have should be brought up with Fusion. That's a HUGE load of crap. I've made multiple purchases from Bud's in the past. No problems. If this goes the way I think it's going to go, at least according to the guy one the phone...This will obviously be my LAST purchase from Bud's.
