I dislike leaving...
I dislike leaving negative reviews and very rarely do, but as an experienced gunsmith and FFL I feel obligated this time. I am warning everyone that this gun is a severe safety hazard. During my own mandatory pre-sale checks, it completely failed to feed standard round-nose ball ammo from the factory magazine. Even worse, the feed ramp and barrel link are dangerously out of spec, causing an unsupported chamber condition. A cartridge bulged and suffered a pinhole rupture during initial test-firing due to an early unlock ignition failure. I have officially rejected this firearm as unmarketable and emailed GForce Arms to demand a full refund. Do not buy this gun, it malfunctions and is unsafe.

Bought this firearm to...
Bought this firearm to learn how a 1911A1 pistol operates. It does have a cast frame with rough spots and a slide with internal parts that really need to be upgraded. Hopefully, it will be positive learning experience with this firearm finally becoming a dependable, serviceable 1911A1 pistol. The Bud's Gun Shop purchase experience was great without any problems.
