Bought this firearm to learn how a 1911A1 pistol operates. It does have a cast frame with rough spots and a slide with internal parts that really need to be upgraded. Hopefully, it will be positive learning experience with this firearm finally becoming a dependable, serviceable 1911A1 pistol. The Bud's Gun Shop purchase experience was great without any problems.

I have fired a Colt...
I have fired a Colt Gold Cup Match 1911 and it does not shoot 600 dollars better than the GForce. This weapon fires well "straight out the box". Could it be refined…absolutely! This is an old fashioned workhorse solid and consistent, just "ain't a fancy pants" 1911, however, I would bank on it in street fight.
