The Girsan MC1911 SC Officer is a compact 9mm 1911 pistol built with a forged aluminum Officer frame and slide for reduced carry weight. Its 3.4-inch barrel and 7-inch overall length support discreet carry, while front and rear grip checkering improve control. An ambidextrous manual safety, extended beavertail grip safety, deep slide serrations, and a crisp 3.5- to 4-pound trigger provide familiar 1911 handling in a compact format. The pistol is equipped with conventional iron sights, including a fully adjustable rear sight, and feeds from a 7-round magazine with one round carried in the chamber.

Buds was awesome with...
Buds was awesome with the price and the quick shipping of the gun. I purchased the Girsan MC 1911 SC in 9mm. The gun is awesome with the exception that buds has it labeled as 3 dot sights and they are not and the picture does not show any view of the sights. I received the gun and they are standard all black iron sights and the sight cuts are unique to the manufacturer only and after market sights would need to be properly fitted to the gun by a gunsmith. I asked Girsan which aftermarket sights would fit the gun since Girsan doesn't offer any other sights. (Truglo, meprolight, trijicon, etc) and their response was none fit that they know of. I would not have bought the gun if it said or showed all black iron sights instead of the advertised 3 dot sights. So it's basically a day gun that you can not use at night.
