The Girsan MC1911S is a full-size 10mm semi-automatic pistol built around a steel 1911-style frame and a recoil-operated action. Its five-inch barrel supports a traditional 1911 balance, while the external hammer, skeletonized trigger, extended beavertail, and checkered front and rear straps provide familiar handling and control. An ambidextrous thumb safety works with the grip safety for secure carry and operation. The black-finished slide and frame are paired with polymer G10-style grips, white-dot front and white two-dot rear sights, and front and rear slide serrations. The optics-ready slide is compatible with RMR and RMSc-pattern optics, giving shooters the option to add a red-dot sight.

I have been looking...
I have been looking for a 1911 in 10mm for a while after having sold my sr1911 in 45 a couple years ago. I was on a budget as I have a double stack 10mm already but wanted a 1911 again and I came across the influencer for $440. I have been incredibly impressed and happy with my purchase especially the optic mount and rail I have shot a variety of ammo thru it including aluminum case and underwood and it took it in stride. I do wish it came with 2 mags but for the price it's no big deal if your looking for a cheap good 1911 in 10mm with optic capability this is the one.

This pistol performed...
This pistol performed well today shooting one mag at 25 yards open sights. Im sure it will shoot better once I mount a red dot sight on it and shoot different loads. When I'm ready to mount a red dot I will just have to unscrew two screws and mount the optic!! I'm looking forward to getting it all set up before deer season this fall.
