Love shooting the...
Love shooting the Glock 17 for target practice. This is my first Glock and polymer handgun. I carry a Sig and shoot a full size Kimber for fun. Bought the Glock17 Gen4 with a Cerakote finish. Was not advertised as Cerakoted, and I did not know that Glock does not Cerokote their guns. I bought this gun as I recalled Glock selling a grey gun in the past. The gun I was shipped had a warped frame which interfered with the trigger bar. The trigger felt very rough and hard to pull. I accepted it at my FFL dealer thinking things would work themselves out after putting a few hundred rounds through the gun. I was also not into the Cerokote finish concept but loved the color, so hesitently accepted the gun even after learning it was grey because it was cerokoted. The cerakote finish further hindered the free movement of the trigger. Without going into further details Bud's would not allow, I will just say I suggest staying clear of cerokoted guns and take a close look at the Glock frames for warping before accepting at FFL dealer.
