Purchased Glock 45...
Purchased Glock 45 back in March. Last year when the pandemic started and everyone went crazy buying guns, I decided we might need something to protect or toilet paper. I had always wanted a Glock 17 or 19, really couldn't decide.. After waiting in a two hour line the only thing I could get my hands on was a Taurus G3, not a bad gun, fairly accurate, my wife had issues with jamming. She was limp wristing which we quickly cured her of. After about a month I try again for my Glock 19 or 17. The lines were shorter and so was the selection. By now ammo is starting to thin down so I decide to be smart and I get a Glock 21. This gun is amazing, recoil not too bad and for me its super accurate, now I'm confident I can protect my toilet paper. Only problem is, now you can't find 45acp to save your soul. Few months pass, things are still, crazy active shooters everywhere it seems, so now I get a Springfield Hellcat. Little snappy, but to be expected on something this small. Still accurate and light, and holds 13 rounds!!!\\r\ This entire time I'm still always trying to get my hands in the elusive 17/19. I start looking into the 19x, best of both worlds, but I don't like the stupid ring at the bottom. I had decided that's what I was going to get, and then it happened, I was reading one of the reviews about the 19x and it was compared to the 45. Switched gears and learned about the 45. Very similar except the Glock 45 has all of the gen 5 upgrades where as the 19x is more like a gen4.5. Plus it doesn't have that stupid ring at the bottom. I find this little baby on Buds Guns for $589, and that's the best price I've seen anywhere. Place my order and receive it at my ffl in 3 days. I've put about 500 rounds through it so far, and I am so glad I wasn't able the get the Glock19/17 last year. This is an awesome handgun! Its smooth, have not had and malfunctions. My wife and sister in law had no issues like with the Taurus G3. Its very accurate, more accurate than I am. I would recommend this gun to anybody that is looking for a 9mm.
