The Heckler & Koch P30 V3 is a hammer-fired 9mm pistol designed for dependable service use and practical handling. Its polymer frame features interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral grip panels to help tailor the fit to the shooter’s hand. The V3 configuration uses a serrated decocking button and spurred hammer, while ambidextrous slide and magazine controls support left- or right-handed operation. A molded Picatinny rail accepts compatible accessories, and the extractor also serves as a loaded chamber indicator. The 3.85-inch polygonal-bore barrel provides a compact balance of handling and sight radius, complemented by open square-notch rear sights with contrast points.
