The Heckler & Koch P30L V3 is a full-size 9mm double-action/single-action pistol designed for duty, security, and defensive use. Its extended slide houses a 5.1-inch polygonal barrel, while the corrosion-resistant black nitro-carburized steel slide provides durable service performance. The polymer frame uses interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral grip panels to help tailor the grip to the shooter. Ambidextrous slide and magazine releases support either-handed operation, and the rear decocking button safely lowers the spurred hammer. Night sights, a loaded chamber indicator, a molded Picatinny rail, and three 17-round magazines complete the factory package.

Buds was great through the process, I put mine on the 3 month layaway and paid it up that way. Just a fyi for anyone wondering about that payment system buds offers. Its super easy and it works great, being able to pay it in increments over a 3 month period keeps my wife happier than buying it outright. To each their own though just what works for me. Got to my local ffl quickly once shipped. If you've been thinking about buying a P30 this is the one to get. Having no safety on the side gives the already ergonomic grip an even better feel. I run the small side panels with small backstrap and it's the best feeling handgun I've ever picked up. The accuracy has been really good I'm not the best shot in the world either. The only downside is probably the only one you've already heard if you know anything about the P30. Yes the trigger isn't great, and because of that rapid firing the weapon isnt going to feel like your shooting a race gun. In my opinion after putting about 1000 rounds through mine it's not nearly as bad as what people say though. The double action is heavy but smooth and the single action feels nice and crisp. Reset is nice and tactile. TLDR: HK duty style handgun good.
