The Heckler & Koch USP Compact V1 is a dependable 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for service use and discreet carry. Its fiber-reinforced polymer frame uses stainless steel reinforcement at high-stress contact points, while the steel slide and polygonal bore support long-term durability and consistent accuracy. The frame-mounted V1 control lever combines a manual safety and decocker and can be configured for either side of the pistol. A compact grip circumference, bobbed hammer, ambidextrous magazine release, captive recoil spring assembly, and night sights provide practical handling and fast target acquisition. This package includes three 13-round magazines.

My sister carried this...
My sister carried this same make/model of this firearm for years. She was a well respected member of the LE community before her passing. I've ordered one to commemorate her memory. This biases my response, however I've greatly appreciated how well this weapon has functioned over the more than 15 years she carried it. I've carried a USP .40 which was my winter daily carry for about 5 years and it shot excellently. I really enjoy this firearm. It functions perfectly and is easy to clean.
