Product Overview
The Heckler & Koch USP Expert V1 is a double action/single action 9mm pistol built on the USP platform with a fiber-reinforced polymer frame reinforced with stainless steel inserts at high-stress and wear areas. It uses HK’s recoil reduction system to help manage recoil effects and reduce stress on the pistol components. The USP control lever is a combined safety and decocker mounted on the left side of the frame for quick access.

I have a thing for...
I have a thing for duty pistols and this is one of the best. Just the right amount of weight and sight radius. I own a P8A1 which is a more duty sized USP and I needed a more target variant companion piece. A bit dated in some areas, but otherwise the USP Expert is very accurate and is a must for HK fans.

The HK USP line of...
The HK USP line of pistols are synonymous with classic 90s tank-built reliability. I just had to get one of these, and I had a hard time finding one in stock, even debating to get a standard or tactical 9mm version. I'm glad I waited until this returning in-stock on Buds. This thing is gorgeous. Though it's a heavier, larger pistol (geared for competition) it's a dream to shoot at the range. The slide/barrel fittings are superb, and the 'match' trigger & o-ring at the tip of the barrel make this a consistent shooter through & through. I do wish H&K would update the USP line-up for optics-ready milled versions one-day, but, otherwise, this is a fantastic (though expensive) purchase for sure.
