The Heckler & Koch VP9 is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed around a refined striker-fired operating system and HK's enhanced light-pull trigger. Its crisp trigger break, short reset, and consistent pre-travel support precise, controlled shooting. The ergonomic polymer grip includes interchangeable backstraps and side panels to help accommodate a wide range of hand sizes, while ambidextrous slide releases and a reversible magazine release provide practical handling for right- and left-handed users. Factory night sights support target acquisition in low-light conditions, and the extended Picatinny rail accepts compatible lights and accessories. A cold hammer forged polygonal barrel and corrosion-resistant finish contribute to long-term durability. This configuration includes three 15-round magazines.

Amazing striker-fired...
Amazing striker-fired pistol. Out of the box accuracy would be hard to beat. The VP9 is very easy to manipulate, making it ideal for anyone who may have issues with hand strength or arthritis. For those of us without such issues, it's nice to know in case we ever do, but with that in mind, this pistol functions like all of them should. Easy to manipulate, the action is smooth all around, and the trigger break and reset is the best I have ever experienced in a striker-fired pistol. You'd be hard pressed to find this sort of excellence in any other pistol. Excellent firearm and is highly recommended for anyone looking for an ergonomically and functionally superior platform suitable for range, carry, or duty use. The customization available through back straps and palm swells on the grip make this even more of an attractive investment, because the grip can be changed at any time without having to send it out for grip reductions, etc. You can't go wrong with this pistol in my opinion.
