I bought this as a novelty or conversation piece. Being that all I have ever heard about hi point is negative stuff, I wasn't expecting much but upon receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it's heavy, and yes breaking it down to clean takes a 1/8 pin punch and isn't as simple as my Glock or Springfield xds, but I took it to the range and ran around 150 rounds through it flawlessly. It impressed me enough that I'm going to buy the .40 s&w next week. For

Little disappointed. I...
Little disappointed. I bought this knowing that it was a Hipoint obviously and that it wasn't going to be of the highest quality, but simply put, just a fun gun to shoot, etc. Already had a part break on it and I haven't even gotten to take it to the range yet. Its still covered by warranty, but this is a pain in the neck to deal with....shipping, waiting, etc. Honestly, I wish I'd paid a bit more for a better firearm.
