The Ithaca Gun Company 1911 Government is a full-size single-action pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its black carbon steel frame and slide are paired with a match-grade Ithaca stainless steel barrel for a durable, traditional 1911 configuration. Novak-style combat sights, including a fully adjustable rear sight, support practical target acquisition, while the extended beavertail grip safety helps promote a consistent high grip. The pistol also features a skeletonized tool steel hammer, a lightened aluminum trigger with over-travel adjustment, rear slide serrations, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Checkered Cocobolo grips with the Ithaca logo complete the classic presentation.
