The Iver Johnson 1911A1 Copperhead is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol with a classic 5-inch barrel and an 8+1-round capacity. Its Blue/Black base finish is enhanced with a Copperhead snake-print hydrographic treatment, applied over a tan high-grade epoxy base and protected by a clear coat designed to withstand regular shooting use. Black Dymondwood double-diamond grips add a distinctive snake-scale texture and feature the Iver Johnson owl-head logo. Fixed two-dot sights, a frame-mounted thumb safety, and the familiar 1911 controls complete the traditional configuration.
