The Iver Johnson 1911A1 Thrasher is a compact 9mm 1911 pistol with a stainless finish and an 8+1 capacity. Its 3.12-inch barrel provides a shorter profile for concealed carry while retaining the familiar single-action 1911 operating system. A beavertail grip safety with memory bump, extended thumb safety, and round combat-style hammer support confident handling. The pistol also features a skeletonized trigger, two-stage recoil spring system, lowered and flared ejection port, beveled magazine well, and angled front and rear slide serrations. Novak-style fixed sights with a dovetail front sight provide a practical sighting arrangement.

I bought the Iver...
I bought the Iver Johnson 9mm stainless thrasher for a back up weapon. When I took it to the range it worked perfectly.took every kind of ammo I fed it...no problems. The only drawback I could find is that it's a little heavy in the stainless mod. Kinda awkward carrying as a second backup weapon...still will not get rid of it as it is a Very well made gun for the price and shoots great......thanks buds ,,,keep up the good work.
