The Iver Johnson 1911A1 Water Moccasin is a full-size semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its 5-inch barrel and single-action design follow the classic 1911A1 format, while the 8+1 capacity offers practical range and defensive capability. The frame and slide feature a water moccasin hydrographic print over a dark goldish-green epoxy base coat, protected by a clear coat designed to preserve the finish during regular use. Synthetic ivory and mother of pearl grips with an owl head logo complete the distinctive presentation. Standard fixed two-dot sights, a manual thumb safety, and a grip safety retain the familiar controls and handling characteristics expected from a traditional 1911.

Beautiful gun!! For...
Beautiful gun!! For sure feels solid in hand. Recoil is not as smooth as most higher end 1911's.. Gun is very picky on ammo and I still have yet to find the right brand to allow the gun to cycle properly without jamming. Wish I Was given two mags for the price, but it only comes with one.
