The Iver Johnson Thrasher Officer 70 Series is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. Its steel frame is paired with rosewood grips, a 3.12-inch barrel, and a hard-wearing chrome finish. Novak LoMount fixed sights support a clear sight picture, while the beavertail grip safety, manual thumb safety, skeleton trigger, combat-style round hammer, and lowered and flared ejection port retain familiar 1911 handling characteristics. The two-stage recoil spring system is designed for reliable cycling in the shorter Officer configuration.

Bud's Gun Shop service...
Bud's Gun Shop service was superb. I purchased a new SS 9mm Iver Johnson Thrasher. \\r\ I fired 300 rounds of ball ammo without a single problem\\r\ However, self-defense hollow points were another matter.\\r\ It hung up sometimes when loading a first rouind, sometimes on the fourth, sometimes on the seventh.\\r\ These failures to feed were the same with both magazines and three different self-defense ammo.\\r\ Ammo was Hornady 115 critical defense flex tip, Remington golden saber black belt, and Speer HST. All 9mm but no P.\\r\ The magazines were the original that came with the gun and an additional stainless model purchased from Iver Johnson.\\r\ I have left two messages for Iver Johnson to call me back; no response to date.\\r\ Their delayed response may be due to the Hurricane Dorian.
