This is an amazing...
This is an amazing piece of hardware. IWI Hit this one out of the park. Overall fit and feel surprised me. It was a little bit difficult to disassemble at first to clean, but I am sure that this will resolve itself the more you break it in and use it. It is a HARD fit. The slide rides on a chassis system… and it is machined with very tight tolerances. Once I got it off, I couldn't help but admire the simplicity and the unique rigidity they put into this, with LEO and Military in mind. This system helps to clean the firearm and to get out any unwanted debris that you encounter. It did have lock back issues, but that was attributed to the way I was gripping the firearm with my support hand and thumb from my strong hand: once I realized it was me and not the gun, it was fixed. This gun shoots…. And shoots well; exceptionally well!!!! The sights you have to use combat style sighting in mind. At 30 feet (ten yards) I got all of what I wanted into a 6 inch NRA 50yard slow fire target (all in the 8, 9 and 10). For me, and shooting semi rapid with how I shoot being a US Marine & NYS Armed Guard, that was good enough for me. All shots within 6 inches at 30 feet… this firearm is an excellent choice for work or CC. Absolutely 100 percent recommend. The trigger is not at all as bad as some of the others out there. It is actually one of my favorite triggers on a firearm in my collection, next to my choice CC being an Springfield XDS 45. I Love Springfields sights and triggers, and IWI has an amazing, audible, and predictable reset, making faster follow-up shots and trigger control. 10 stars if I could give it. The tight aspect is not a deal breaker… me riding my thumb over thumb hold on their slide stop…. Not a deal breaker… I have to hold this firearm differently… so what. The overall feeling of it and the accuracy is what made this exceptional. Their tight tolerances for slide to chassis fitting… I believe this aids in accuracy and controllability. So no faulting there. If anything…. But one…. Shoot it and see for yourself. No failures to fire at all.
