The pistol itself is really nice, the problem is the dang mags. I even bought the keltec mag loader and still couldn't get the pistol to feed. Constantly jamming up.

This CP33 pistol was a...
This CP33 pistol was a magazine loading jam fest when I first bought it. The first range session was a disaster! It wouldnt even run though a single mag! There is a mag loading learning curve for new owners. Dont use crap bulk 22lr bullets, and clean/oil this pistol and its magazines! Winchester X 22lr bulk ammo has low bullet quality and my pistol didnt like this ammo at all. I soon used up all my crap 22lr ammo in it with kinda sucky reliability wasnt fun! The next few range sessions I fed it Federal Eagle 22lr ammo with HUGE improvement in fun and reliability for each magazine! Still loading mags by thumbs at that time though with new owner mag loading learning issues. I then bought the red EZ mag loader that feeds ammo from the top to quickly load each magazine.. EXCELLENT choice! Now this CP33 pistol runs reliably at 1000 rounds or so with a failure to feed every now and again. It will prob never get to be on a life defending level of reliability but that is ok! Keep its high quality guts oiled and cleaned, feed it quality ammo, oil the magazine feed ramps and get a speed loader! This gun is a giggle fun machine! It now chews though ammo in hurry! Great bright sights, accurate shots, and a threaded barrel, with 2 magazines are included. Cons are I'd say mags dont drop free and the heel mag release button, and picky on ammo selection with possible mag loading issues. I recommend this CP33 pistol though and would buy a spare of this pistol if I ever have cash for it's twin. Great fun buy!
