This is the first...
This is the first firearm I have purchased from Buds. I had a good experience, overall. This 1911 Custom II .45 is a beautful gun. I have added new grip sleeve and changed out the black grip screws to stainless steel to complement the two tone. I also have a Hogue grip with finger grooves to replace the exisitng grip coming soon...but the stock ones are great as well. This gun fires great and is very accurate out of the box. I am still breaking it in, but having very little issues. Breaking it down was a learning experience but I learned to do it much easier now after watching some YouTube videos on it. My ONLY complaint is that the details says its an 8rd, but only came with 1x 7rd magazine. I have since gone to gunmagwarehouse and purchased 3x 8rd magazines that feel much studier and well built (mec-gar 8rd). The stock magazine seems thin and flimsy, slightly. This is my 2nd Kimber firearm, my other is a R7 Mako 9mm, which has been flawless and not a single issue with over 1000 rds through it. Kimber is a great firearm company. I don't think you will regret getting this to add to your collection, and I fully plan to purchase more Kimber firearms in the future from Buds.
