Kimber evo CDP 9 mm.\\r\ Firearm has been returned to Kimber due to two problems.\\r\ 1) Magazine release so difficult to push that my finger was sore for days and I sometimes needed two fingers to push the release.\\r\ 2) Both magazines would intermittently not lock open the slide after the last shot. \\r\ Ammunition fired was Federal American Eagle 124 grain full metal jacket.\\r\ Aproximately 40 rounds fired, of standard pressure 9mm. Firearm is rated for 9 mm and 9 mm plus P, with plus P indicated to cause \\r\ more wear upon firearm.\\r\ Recoil spring replacement is recommended at 3000 rounds of standard pressure 9 mm. \\r\ Plus p ammunition indicated that the recoil spring may be needed to be replaced earlier than 3000 rounds.\\r\ Note manual doesn't list a break-in period of various number of rounds.\\r\ I experienced no feeding or ejection problems. Sights seemed to shoot the point of aim at 25 yards.\\r\ I found the takedown difficult due to having to hold the slide open to align with takedown pin with the cutout within the side.\\r\ Note I am a senior age 71 and my hand strength is not what it used to be.\\r\ Firearm look great, no scratches or obvious machine marks.\\r\ \\r\ Due to the price of the gun, I expected to have no problems. \\r\ Also the warranty was limited to one year for defective parts and workmanship.\\r\ Frankly I thought the gun should have a lifetime warranty. \\r\ I also felt that a firearm should have a better trigger pull.\\r\ \\r\ I was told to expect a firearm back in approximately four weeks. \\r\ I will post a follow up review At a later date.\\r\ \\r\ \\r\ \\r\
