I had fairly high...
I had fairly high expectations for this gun after reading and researching. I did get a really good deal on it through a sale that Buds had. This gun is a really good gun and for the price it is excellent! But, it's not perfect. Here is the breakdown: Grip - excellent, with the texture all over the grip, would give it a 9/10. Could be slightly more aggressive texture Sights - superb, day or night, high quality, some of best on market, would give it 10/10 Trigger - superb, crisp, crisp, crisp, good pull weight but could be a tad lighter, good reset - 9.5/10 Recoil - good, but not great, not as snappy as a Hellcat but still pretty snappy, it is a little gun - 7.5/10 Fit and finish - very good, high quality - 9.5/10 Now, for the issue that bugs me - I shot two different kinds of ammo - Fiocchi 115gr and Seller and Belliot 124 gr. The gun ran perfectly with the S&B, no issues after 150 rounds. But, it jammed every other round with the Fiocchi, like clockwork. I have shot the Fiocchi numerous times with almost every other 9mm gun I own and not a single issue. So, the Kimber either doesn't like 115 gr or Fiocchi or both. I will be trying some different brands of 115.

I have nothing but...
I have nothing but great things to say about this firearm. Out of the box, it had plenty of oil coverage so no worries about corrosion before you even get it. The range bag is good quality and has plenty of room for a handgun or two and plenty of magazines. The springs that come in all of the mags are a little stiff, and definitely will need to be broken in. The gun shoots very very well, and right out of the box I was very impressed with the performance. Grouping was nice and tight and the recoil was very manageable. I think it felt less snappy than a hellcat, but I believe that is because it weighs just a little more. Taking the firearm apart was fairly simple and essentially the same as a Glock. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone wanting to get into a micro compact.
