The Kimber Rapide Dusk is a full-size 10mm 1911 pistol built around a steel frame and a five-inch match-grade barrel. Its gray and black KimPro II finish is paired with stepped cocking serrations, front and rear slide lightening cuts, and a TiCN-coated barrel for durability. TruGlo TFX Pro night sights provide a bright orange-outline front sight and tritium illumination for practical aiming in changing light. An extended beavertail grip safety, Kimber Stiplex front-strap texturing, and Rapide-pattern G10 grips provide a secure hold, while the external hammer and V-cut aluminum trigger complete the traditional 1911 operating system.

My first 10MM pistol....
My first 10MM pistol. I've always had my 1911's as my favorite group of handguns and this one jumped to the top of my list. The look is totally different from most 1911's. Classy and formidable. Shooting in 10MM is even more fun than my 45ACPs. Very accurate gun as well. A few of my buddies are now looking into getting one in 10MM. It's not cheap, but it's a Kimber so it's made well. Also you can't beat Bud's pricing and how fast they process and ship to my FFL. Definitely worth considering if you're interested.

Love this gun my first...
Love this gun my first 10mm it's a very accurate with regular range ammo and very pretty. I did notice the hotter stuff does cause a lot of feedback from the firearm reminded me of the first time I tried .357 out of a 2inch snub but once you I got used to it I found it managable. No problems feeding so far through 300 rounds.
