Gun feels great in the...
Gun feels great in the hand, I bought it to use as a range queen however it's such a tack driver I've started carrying it. This is my personal experience but with other carry guns I've had draw times hover right around 2 seconds with this Kimber lw I've averaged right around 1.8 out of the holster. My only quip is with the grip safety but that's just 1911 territory anyways. Gun has fed the 2 mags of defensive ammo I out through it no problem and has had similar success with over 200 fmjs. Overall satisfied with the gun.

This is a very nice...
This is a very nice pistol. I put custom wood and faux ivory grips on this pistol and it may be the prettiest pistol I own. More importantly, it shoots well, right out of the box. \r It is very tight, and very well finished. I've put about 400 rds. thou it so far, and the only issues have been occasional failure to fully return to battery. A light tap on the rear of the slide and it runs again. This is happening less and less as it breaks in, occurring only once in my last 100 rd. range session. Almost there. Fixed sights hit about 2" to the right at 25 yds., need a slight adjustment, or maybe an adjustable rear sight. I've got 1911s in .45acp and 10mm, and unless i'm in boar or bear country, I'll carry this one. Light weight, 10 rd. mags., and minimal recoil make it an easy choice.
