Great pistol, fit and...
Great pistol, fit and finish is excellent. Very nice stock trigger, take up not bad, no creep at all and breaks clean. Not as nice as my Kimbers with gunsmith trigger jobs with all Wilson parts but nice enough it won't get worked on anytime soon. I took it out with one of my aluminum frame Pro Carrys for its first outing. Recoil and muzzle flip were much more controlled with the all stainless TLE. Accuracy was excellent. I was a little disappointed it wasn't the newer model with the stainless steel barrel and new G10 grips but not a big deal. It is on the way to the gunsmith to be bobtailed and I have never had a problem with rust on any of my Kimbers with steel barrels and it could not be more accurate. Very happy with the pistol.

After steering clear...
After steering clear of its products for a long while, I've recently bought several Kimber pistols and I must say, have been impressed. The stainless TLE reviewed here is a wonderful , although a very heavy( it is all steel) nearly commander sized 1911. The fit and finish is top notch, function has been flawless, front strap checkering is very nice and the night sights are very bright. Yes, it only comes with one magazine, no problem for me , I have many. Kimber asks for a 500 round break-in, this Pro required none of that, shooting flawlessly from the first round. A complete detail strip, lube and off to the range for a pleasing and failure free 200 round first range session. It is rather expensive, but money well spent.
