The Kimber Ultra+ CDP II is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol built for concealed carry and personal defense. Its 3-inch match-grade ramped bull barrel and premium match-grade trigger support consistent accuracy, while the lightweight aluminum frame helps keep the pistol at approximately 25 ounces. The stainless steel slide features a satin silver finish, and the frame uses Kimber's KimPro II finish with Carry Melt treatment for smooth, rounded edges. Fixed low-profile 3-dot night sights provide a clear aiming reference in changing light. Rosewood double-diamond checkered grips, front-strap checkering, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a grip safety complete the carry-focused configuration.

I am a long time Kimber fan and always said someday I will own one. Well the day I saw this Kimber at such a Great price and I could put it on layaway I had to have it. Buds layaway process is so easy to do all online, no phone calls or hoops to jump through it made buying a gun I've always wanted but was always just out of reach for me a reality. Great firearm. Fit and finish are impeccable. I put 100 rounds through it on my first range visit with 2 Kimpro tactical mags and it performed flawlessly. Love the full size handle. It helps to control recoil and get back on target quickly.

Probably one of the best OOB triggers on a handgun I've ever felt. The night sights are fantastic with bright tritium inserts with vivid white outlines for daytime. The gun does seem to be sensitive to ammo type as bulk ammo will sometimes not properly eject spent cases. Defensive ammo runs great though.
