Its National Match frame, slide, and barrel are fitted with a stainless bushing, while the polished feed ramp, throated barrel, tuned extractor, and extended ejector support reliable operation. A crisp 4-pound Baer Speed Trigger complements the deluxe hammer and sear. The pistol includes improved ramp-style night sights, an extended ambidextrous safety, a beveled magazine well, a checkered front strap, rounded carry-oriented contours, and premium checkered Cocobolo grips. Les Baer guarantees three-inch groups at 50 yards, providing a precise platform in a classic full-size configuration.

I have wanted a Les...
I have wanted a Les Baer for many years and just never thought there would be a noticeable difference between that or a cheaper 1911. Well I have been wrong! This is a super nice pistol. Let me tell you, it's tight, like you aren't gonna rack the slide like normal! Lol. I've only got about 300 rnds through it, but i haven't had one malfunction and that really surprises me for how tight and stuff the springs are. I have a colt that was completely reworked by schaulandperformance and this Baer and they are both phenomenal guns. I will be carrying this Baer once I get it all broke in and feel comfortable with it's performance. Buds was phenomenal to deal with. I am so thankful they offer layaway, that really helps me be able to get the guns I want and not miss out because someone else bought it while I'm saving.
