The Live Free Armory AMPX is an aluminum-framed 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a precision-machined 17-4 stainless steel fire control unit. Its extended grip accepts Glock 17 pattern magazines, while the skeletonized 1911-angled grip frame and extended beavertail provide a secure, comfortable hold and help reduce felt recoil. The slide features stepped quad windows and deep serrations for reduced weight and improved manipulation. A Trijicon RMR-pattern optic cut supports direct mounting of a compatible red dot sight. The 3.905-inch match-grade nitrided fluted barrel is non-ported and uses six-groove rifling with a 1:10 twist. Glock-compatible sights, barrel, slide, trigger, and many internal components simplify parts compatibility and customization.
