The Maxim Defense MD9 CQB is a compact 9mm AR-style pistol built around the company’s RDB CQB buffer system. It features a 5.5-inch free-floating barrel, Maxim Defense Hatebrake muzzle device, Radian charging handle, ALG trigger, ambidextrous magazine release, last-round hold-open operation, and ambidextrous sling mounts. Its custom handguard creates a monolithic-like upper receiver platform with M-Rax and M-Slot compatibility for lights, grips, and other accessories. The MD9 accepts Glock 9mm pattern magazines, including G19 and longer magazines, and includes a continuous top rail for mounting the user’s preferred optic or sighting system.
