Product Overview
The MetroArms SPS Pantera is a full-size 9mm 1911-style pistol built around a 4140 steel frame and hammer-forged slide. Its five-inch ramped match-grade bull barrel, full-length guide rod, lightweight polymer trigger, and skeletal hammer support consistent performance and smooth handling. An enhanced beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety provide secure operation, while wide front and rear cocking serrations, front strap serrations, a flared and lowered ejection port, and a wide magwell enhance practical handling. The sighting system combines a fiber optic front sight with a fully adjustable Bomar-type rear sight. Glass-filled nylon polymer grips complete the blued finish configuration.

I've had this gun for...
I've had this gun for a couple months now, and it is great. Have ~1200 rounds thru it, with no failures at all. Fit and finish is superb, the trigger breaks at just under 2lbs, and it is ridiculously accurate. My one complaint is the factory mags. In my case, the basepads made contact with the magwell, which required me to slam the mag into the gun for it to seat. A little grinding on the basepads fixed this issue. I've also been using STI 140mm mags with no issues.
