The Rock Island Armory Rock Standard Full Size 1911 combines the classic Series 70 design with a durable stainless steel slide and frame. Its 5-inch barrel and traditional semi-automatic operation provide the familiar handling of a full-size 1911, while the 9mm chambering offers practical recoil and broad ammunition availability. The pistol features double-wide slant serrations, a traditional rollover ejection port, matte chrome exposed steel components, Parkerized internal parts and sights, and low-profile front and rear sights. A beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous manual safety and skeletonized hammer complete the traditional configuration. Double diamond checkered wood grips provide a secure, classic hold, and the factory trigger is specified at 4 to 6 pounds.
