The Rock Island Armory TCM Rock Ultra CCO is a compact single-action 1911 pistol chambered for both .22 TCM 9R and 9mm. Its 4.25-inch barrel and aluminum frame create a practical Commander-sized configuration while keeping the unloaded weight to approximately 29.5 ounces. The black hardcoat-anodized frame and black Parkerized slide provide a durable two-tone finish, complemented by black and gray G10 grips. Standard fixed sights, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a beavertail grip safety deliver familiar 1911 operation. The pistol uses an 8+1 capacity and is supplied with one magazine.

The firearm is nice...
The firearm is nice feels good in the hand. Handles 9mm easily and runs anything. I did have a few issues with the mag but it was easily remedied by adjustment. Mags are expensive. I enjoy shooting it and it carries easy and concealment is simple. 4 stars

This is a surprisingly...
This is a surprisingly nice 1911 at this low price point. Fit and finish are very good, accuracy and trigger excellent right out of the box. Fiber optic front and fully adjustable rear sights work very well for my old eyes. Reliability flawless right from round one in 9mm.\\r\ Now for the bad news. Function in 22TCM is, so far, terrible. Just one range session so far, but it was frustrating, with numerous jams, and ended with a failure to extract. I had to disassemble the pistol and force the case out with a cleaning rod. As it's intended use is a carry gun in 9mm and a range toy in 22TCM, this is not a deal breaker for me. One more minor \\r\ complaint, grips are a bit thick and very aggressively textured. OK for target shooting but not ideal for carry. I also wish it came with an ambi safety and more than one magazine. By the way I highly recommend Ed Brown Officers model 9mm mags.\\r\ \\r\ All in all, not yet perfect, but a very nice lightweight CCO at an outstanding price point. And, as always, Bud's was great with a good product and quick delivery.
