A: Derek, This handgun is based on the traditional 1911 platform which should be "Standard Size Grips". To be sure before ordering Grips just measure the distance between the top of the top grip screw and bottom of the bottom grip screw which should be 3.3 inches for a Standard 1911 Grip. A: the grip is longer from the front strap to the grip safety due to the length of the 22 mag round which is why the wrap around grips (Hogue finger grove ) will not work

A: Steven, any standard 1911 Magazine will work as this is a Government Sized 1911 Pistol. Just stick with the full size 5 inch 1911 model holsters of the choice you want, in the waistband, outside waist band, shoulder etc. : https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php?q=1911+holster&type=

A: Any holster for a full size 1911 will work. The dimensions are exactly the same.

A: Use high velocity or heavy grain (40gr) ammo. Avoid low velocity or light 22 mag load. Avoid, ammo that has less than 1900 fps. Moreover, nickel-plated ammunition for best performance. I use CCI 40 gr. round nose and it works great. I hope this helps!

A: I have a different version of this gun, but it cycles whatever I put in it. Armscor, Hornady, CCI, it feeds them all.

A: Rich, it cycles most 22 Mag ammo just fine. Newer models have much better feed ramp polishing than older models. Cheers and stay safe!

A: Daniel, unfortunately this is not compatible with any other type of Magazine and I can't find any magazines in stock anywhere. Id contact rock island armory at (775) 537-1444 or email them at ( support@armscor.com ) to see if they have any they could sell you. Contacting the manufacturer is probably your best option. You could also click on notify me when available on as many websites as you can so whenever the dealer gets any in they'll email you. Sorry but hope this helps.

A: Daniel, they are proprietary to RIA Sir. This is as rare as hens teeth currently. I would check on large gun and accessory sites like (6)un (8)roker and Guns International as discontinued and hard to find firearms and accessories show up for sale by private individuals and small shops. A: Daniel, the magazines are proprietary, so unfortunately there are no other magazines that will work with the XT22. Spare magazines are hard to come by. I would get on as many 'notify me when available' lists as possible. Sooner later, some will pop up. Have a great day!
