The Ruger American Duty is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a durable stainless steel slide with a Black Nitride finish and a one-piece glass-filled nylon grip frame. Its 4.20-inch barrel, low bore axis, low-mass slide, and recoil-reducing barrel cam help provide controllable performance, while the short trigger takeup and positive reset support consistent shooting. Novak LoMount Carry 3-Dot sights provide a clear sight picture for defensive and general-purpose use. The modular wrap-around grip system includes small, medium, and large grip modules to adjust palm swell and trigger reach. The pistol is performance tested for sustained use with +P ammunition and includes two nickel-Teflon plated steel magazines.

Shot it today, of the 4 different pistols I shot the Ruger made me look the best. And of the different pistols I took the Ruger was the least expensive. I appreciate all different types of firearms, from 200 to 2,000. And I can tell you this firearm is worth it! Most firearms that are trying to get a military contract, put a lot into it, this one is no different. It's ergonomics, how it feels, shoots, reliability, accuracy, and just how it looks! Sorry not to mention it's price you won't go wrong!!
