Product Overview
The Ruger American Pistol is a 9mm semi-automatic handgun built around a pre-tensioned striker system and a short-takeup trigger with a positive reset. Its recoil-reducing barrel cam, low-mass slide, low center of gravity, and low bore axis support comfortable, controllable shooting. The pistol features a stainless steel barrel, a stainless steel slide with a black Nitride finish, Novak LoMount three-dot sights, and a Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny rail for accessories. Its modular wrap-around grip system allows adjustment of palm swell and trigger reach, while the glass-filled nylon grip frame provides durable, lightweight construction. The integrated trigger safety and internal automatic sear-block safety provide passive safety features, and the pistol is tested for +P ammunition. Two Nickel-Teflon-plated steel magazines are included.

Excellent first experience with Bud's. Order shipped same-day, was at the FFL 2 business days later and in my hands the day following. \r \r The Ruger pistol is of excellent build quality - fit and finish is also first-rate. In particular the inter-changeable grip panels all look like "factory" fit when installed. Additionally, unlike some other polymer guns out there, the gun is tight (no lose slides here). Trigger on this firearm is smooth, and feels lighter than expected.\r \r Don't overlook Ruger as an option for a quality pistol or Buds for an great shopping experience.
