The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite is a lightweight semi-automatic rimfire pistol designed for target shooting, handgun training, and comfortable extended range sessions. Its aerospace-grade aluminum receiver and Zytel polymer grip frame keep the pistol’s weight to 25 ounces, while the ventilated shroud surrounds a tensioned stainless steel barrel for balanced performance. A simple rear-mounted takedown button and frame-mounted pivot pin make field stripping and reassembly significantly easier than previous Mark-series designs. The 4.4-inch barrel features 1/2x28 threading for compatible suppressors and includes an aluminum thread protector. An integrated Picatinny rail supports the addition of an optical sight, and the ambidextrous manual thumb safety allows loading and unloading while engaged.

Arrived quickly and in perfect shape. I was expecting a solid Ruger weapon and thats just what I received. Pros: +beautiful pistol with clean, classic lines +fit and finish is exceptional +removable threaded upper makes suppressor mess easy to resolve +tons of awesome aftermarket parts +magazine ejection is assisted by a spring and plunger making mags fly. Cons: -even on sale and using coupons, this 22LR pistol is over priced. I'd buy it again and again though. Buy once, cry once they say. -grip is big, and though perfect for me, my son takes medium gloves and he says it's uncomfortably large. -aftermarket parts are expensive. -extra large grip cavity could have held a significantly higher round-count. Mags rattle around going in, but they lock up tight. -for the price, I think it should come standard with a better sight package.
