Handsome. Balances...
Handsome. Balances nicely. Like most semi auto rimfire pistols-functions fine until it gets dirty-maybe 200 rounds in my piece. After that, I get a malfunction every 3 mags or so. Presumably it will worsen with continued shooting, but I clean it after a few FTF. The 22/45 frame fills my size small man hands much better than the metal frame Mark 22 Rugers. Of course, that might not hold for all users. The lack of weight is noticeable. Feels almost like a toy-not a judgement-just an observation. Same trigger as the Mark 22 Rugers-not so good. Lots and lots of creep. I do think a Volquartsen trigger upgrade for these excellent pistols is well worth the exorbitant price tag. Eliminates all pre-travel, over-travel and creep. Breaks like glass at somewhere around 2lb, possibly less. It transformed my MKIV standard 6" from an average plinker into a squirrel's nightmare.

Accuracy is as good as...
Accuracy is as good as my Mark IV standard, but I'm more accurate with the original grip angle. Needs a better front sight. But it is so cool-looking that my grandson loves it.
