A truly great 1911. I...
A truly great 1911. I don't own dozens like a lot of people this is my only 1911. A great shooter with a good trigger and some good upgrades like the extended beaver tail, mag release, Novak night sights, skeletonized trigger and hammer. The thing I love the most is the nitride finish. I wanted a black 1911 but not blued, parkerized, or painted and I love nitride finishes. The only real knock I have on this gun is that the barrel and bushing are not polished at all. It looks pretty ugly. I spent a few hours polishing them up and they look great now but not everyone can or wants to do this. It doesn't need to be a mirror polish but it'd be nice if Ruger did a little bit. It's a great 1911 for the money and it is a Ruger so it's all American.
