if you purchase, dont...
if you purchase, dont judge the sr9 from the first magazine. mine would fire twice then nothing. eject shell, fire twice, nothing. through the entire 17 shells. next mag, only 2 miss-fires. i knew it wasnt the ammo because next mag fired them all, including the ones that didnt go off. dont like the additional safety on the trigger. not shown in the picture but it does have it since the recall. also nice that you can get half off the price of the viridian laser sight made just for this firearm. nice pistol.

I purchased one of the First Run SR9's w/ knife. The trigger is a little gritty at first, but after the first box of ammo it was already getting smoother. I've heard of a few minor issues with the SR, I have had no issues, period. A good deal of the time small glitches get blown out of proportion by all of the "Gun Forums". Ruger has always built a solid, strong and reliable Semi-Auto pistol, and stand behind their products. Now that I have the Stainless model, I can't wait to find a "Blackened" stainless model and a LCP 380. Find one and buy it, you can't go wrong!!

I Have just bought the SR9 9mm Ruger it is a very nice handgun.My only problem is the front sight hangs up being drawn from the holsters I have tried at my local gun shops.I own two other Rugers a P85 9mm and 41 Mag.I have fired 1000's of rounds through both with no problems. i own
