The SCCY CPX-1 is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry and everyday personal protection. Its double action only trigger system uses an internal hammer and delivers a consistent approximately 9-pound pull. The pistol features a machined steel barrel, a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy receiver, and a Zytel polymer grip and frame with ergonomic finger grooves and an integrated recoil-cushion backstrap. A guarded manual safety, inertial firing pin, and child-resistant trigger guard lock provide additional handling and storage features. The steel three-dot sight system includes a windage-adjustable rear sight, while the package includes two 10-round magazines with finger-extension bases and two flat magazine bases.

I purchased the CPX-1...
I purchased the CPX-1 because it seemed to be an outstanding value. After shooting it for a while I'm impressed with it in terms of it's reliability, accuracy, and overall good looks. I particularly like the long trigger pull probably because I was brought up shooting double action revolvers and therefore find it easy to take up the slack and then squeeze one off. Back to it being an outstanding value, yes sir, it surely is. So much so that I also purchased a CPX-4 and as soon as they are available I'm going to latch on to a CPX-1 Red Dot. \r . \r
