Product Overview
The SCCY CPX-1 is a compact 9mm double-action-only pistol designed for discreet carry and straightforward operation. Its Sniper Gray and stainless finish combines a durable polymer frame with a stainless slide. The 3.1-inch barrel is machined from bar stock and uses a 1:16 right-hand twist. An internal hammer and inertial firing pin help prevent discharge if the pistol is dropped, while the guarded manual safety provides an additional layer of control. The ergonomic Zytel polymer grip features finger grooves and an integrated recoil cushion on the backstrap. Steel three-dot sights, including an adjustable rear sight for windage, support practical target acquisition.

My first SCCY I...
My first SCCY I purchased was a -2 variation. Other than addressing the trigger pull I am pleased as a hog in a wallow. This model is the first , -1, and there were issues from the start. The materials used in manufacturing the trigger components were not up to the task. I contacted the folks at SCCY and updated components were sent directly. I've been a Gunsmith for the last 40 years so I was capable of making the swap out myself. This one still needs a trigger job but I've chosen to leave it as is for now. I couldn't be more pleased with SCCY and the crew at Buds.
