The SCCY CPX-2 Gen 2 is a compact 9mm double-action-only pistol designed for discreet everyday carry. Its 3.1-inch barrel is machined from bar stock and uses seven lands and grooves with a 1:16 right-hand twist. The receiver is machined from heat-treated 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, while the Purple Zytel polymer grip frame provides ergonomic finger grooves and an integral Re-Coil Cushion backstrap. An internal hammer and inertial firing pin help prevent discharge if the pistol is dropped. The CPX-2 has no manual safety and uses fixed standard sights for straightforward aiming. Two 10-round double-stack magazines are included, with finger-extension and flat-bottom base options.
