The SCCY CPX-2 Gen3 is a compact 9mm double-action-only pistol designed for concealed carry while providing a secure, full-handed grip. Its receiver is made from heat-treated 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, while the Zytel polymer frame incorporates an integral recoil cushion into the backstrap. The stainless steel slide features a Zytel overmolded extension that helps with slide manipulation. An internal hammer and inertial firing pin support safe handling, and the consistent 9-pound trigger pull provides predictable operation. The Gen3 configuration adds a Picatinny accessory rail, upgraded sights, and an improved grip. Two 10-round magazines are included, each with a finger-extension base installed, along with two flat magazine bases.
