Product Overview
The SDS Imports Tisas 1911 Republic of Texas is a limited-edition full-size Government-pattern pistol honoring the Lone Star State. Its forged stainless-steel frame and slide are fitted with a stainless match barrel and finished with hand engraving for a distinctive presentation. Colt Series 70-based internals, a skeletonized trigger and hammer, and a lowered and flared ejection port support the classic single-action 1911 design. Novak-style U-notch rear and brass bead front sights provide a clear sight picture, while the ambidextrous manual safety and extended beavertail grip safety add practical control. Grade 3 walnut burl engraved grips, a 25 LPI checkered frame and flat mainspring housing complete the presentation. Production is limited to 1,836 individually numbered pistols, and each includes two magazines, a cleaning kit, and a lockable rugged case.

very nice looking...
very nice looking pistol. I live in Texas so I primarily bought this for that reason, although I like Tisas and 1911's I own a few 1911's in 9mm. The 45 definitely has some kick comparatively. I've only fired about 50-60 rounds but have had a handful of FTF A little disappointing
